j Conservation I Nearly a quarter-million 4-H youngsters are expected to carry on conservation projects during 1965, reports the National 4-H Service Committee. The estimate is based on last year’s project enrollment figures of 216,580. Projects cover forestry, wildlife, pasture and range lands, soil and water. Besides doing regular project work, thousands of 4-H’ers will attend a conservation camp this summer where they will be instructed by extension con servation specialists and other professionals. As a matter of fact, any summer camp or vacation trip offers unlimited opportunities to practice conservation, observes the Extension Service.
