Visitors on Saturday of Mrs. James M. Settle were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Settle of Orlando, Fla. and George Settle of Powhatan. They also called on Miss Kate Walker at her apart ment in Washington. Dr. and Mrs. T. G. Pullen of Baltimore spent the weekend at their home Odds and Ends. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller left Monday for a ten day visit with Mrs. Miller’s brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Reid at Bartlesville, Okla. The Homemaker’s Club met Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Paul Miller. Others present were Mrs. James Grimmer, Mrs. Will Putnam, Mrs. WScle Pullen, Mrs. Larry Welch, Mrs. Mary cleverley, Mrs. Ida Trump, Mrs. Lloyd Pullen, Mrs. Barbara Gentry and Miss Doris Daugherty. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were guests for the week end of Mrs. Brownings and Mrs. Luther Kay at Spring field. Charles Corder of Huntly was a Saturday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers. Sunday guests in the Nethers home were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers and children George and Nathella of Stephens City, Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mrs. Helen Coffey and son Frank and Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. of Sperryville and Mrs. Dorothy Corder of Huntly. Mr. and Mrs. Lock Burford visited relatives in Amherst during the Easter holiday. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen Mrs. Ruth Lillard and daughter Barbara spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pullen and family in Strasburg.
