Mrs. T, J. Pillar, a representative of the Arts and Crafts Project, presents certificates to those completing a knitting class which consisted of five two-hour sessions. Those pictured are Mrs. Nancy Z. Nicholas, Mrs. J. T. Woodward, Jr., Mrs. J. L. Jenkins; seated are Mrs. Lena Woodward and Mrs. A. C. Hensley. Others taking the course were Mrs. Betty Jane Baldwin, Mrs. Rachael Davis, Mrs. Barbara Hudson, Mrs. Robert Nethers and Miss Susan Payne. An exhibition of their work was held at the home of Mrs. Mary Cleverley, instructor, Flint Hill, last Thursday evening before the certificates were awarded.
