6. Do not overload light circuit by attaching too many lights to one outlet. A blown fuse is the signal of a dangerous overload. Use the correct size when replacing blown fuses. Never use a penny in place of a fuse. 7. Do not use lighted candles around tree or decorations. 8. Unplug lights when leaving room .. if only for a few minutes.
9. Clear away wrappings after opening presents. Keep a waste basket handy.
10. Keep a fire extinguisher or a blanket handy at all times to smother flames if a fire should start.
