It is still the ambition of the Arts and Crafts Project to establish a permanent shop in an interesting building in I the county where the products ]of their labors could be displayed, where demonstrations and workshops could be held and which could serve as head quarters for the project. A few suclr places already have been established ip our state and attract a large number of visitors who are interested in the preservation and prorogation of native arts and craft. Such centers are cultural assets to a community and influence the gifted young people as well as the old. The next regular meeting of the Arts and Crafts Project will be at Cab Inn in Sperryville on January 11 at 10 a.m. That will also be a work day, continuation of regular projects such as knitting, quilting, embroidering, etc. Another night time knitting class is also scheduled for January, the time to be announced.
