Johnson was taken to the Luray Nursing Home Tuea day. Mrs. Johnson is staying with her son-in-law and da ugh ter Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer where she is recovering from an illness. Those from a distance here to attend the funeral of L. N. Singleton last week were Mr. and Mrs. George Herndon, Neil Herndon and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Marshall of Charlottesville, R. G. Singleton of Fayetteville, N. C., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lovelace of Plainwell, Mich., and Mrs. Glen Stephens and daughter Glenda of Alexandria. Mrs. J. H.
