Your better half could easily, and frequently, keep an eye on those cows and ewes from her kitchen window while doing the dishes or her other housekeeping jobs, if they are located nearby. A warning from her could mean saving extra calves and lambs to pay for those new drapes or help buy that additional 200 pounds of fertilizer needed to reach the maximum profit point.
