Payments under the program will be based on the past use and the productivity of the land. For land that would otherwise produce wheat, corn, grain sorghum, or barley, the annual payment per acre will be 40 percent of the county price-support loan rate times the farm yield for the crop. , After placing all of his acreage of one or more of the farm’s allotment crops or the feed grain base in the program, the farmer may offer other cropland.
