Since the introduction of this plan and the public hearing, many of the citizens of the county have developed a belligerent attitude and no matter how worthy a plan or how mild a plan is put before them they will ring up a “No Sale", My personal situation is a perfect example of what can happen when we have no zoning or planning restrictions. Most of my from yard belongs to the State Department of Highways, and with the original design of the house, no matter what I do, there is a limit to the improvements possible. However, it was already there when we purchased the lot and commercial garage, and be it ever so humble there is no place like it, and I’m stuck with it. In reply to an inquiry made yesterday I was told that a zoning plan will be completed and ready to present to the public in February or March.
