But the point remains that these are mobile homes, not necessarily permanent ones, and therefore raise some problems that licensing and zoning could resolve. In some instances trailers move to rented sites and, after accumulating piles of trash all around, move on to another spot; others locate too close to highways and do little or no landscaping, since they can wheel away at any time. In many counties trailer camps must be first approved and licensed by the county, and many have been rejected because the location they sought was not in harmony with the best landuse of the area. This kind of legalized planning, designed to retain the basic beauty of the land, deprives no one of his so-called “rights.” No one has any Godgiven right to plunder the land, to despoil it, to make it ugly under the guise of freedom of action.
