saturate it and other greens with the following mixture: 9 oz. borax, 4 oz. boric acid, 1 gal. water, 1/2 tsp. ‘Dash’, ‘All’, or any low-sudsing detergent. Mix thoroughly. 2. Place tree as far away as possible from radiators, stoves, fireplaces, T.V. sets, air ducts and lamps. 3. Do not place tree in a position where it can be knocked over by bumping into it or tripping over wires or toys. 4. Do^not hang metal foil “icicles" over wires or tree lights. 5. Inspect Christmas-tree lights for frayed cords and test poor connections. Use only well-built fixtures.
