Display & Marketing

The regular meeting of the Rappahannock Arts and Crafts Project was held at Cab Inn, Sperryville, on December 14 at 10a.m. Few members were present, so no definite action was taken but some matters of policy were discussed. Carried over from a previous meeting was the matter of offering craft items for sale hereafter at the Arts and Crafts Show each fall. So many requests have been received at the past two shows for handmade items that could be purchased that a policy of “Showing Only" must be altered. It is believed that some plan can be worked out among craftsmen for handling the | sales of their own items where by the Arts and Crafts Project will not be involved in the exchange, but will have provided the market. It is the policy of the Project not to become commercial or to handle money, but to remain a public service organization. Call Mrs. T. J. Pillar, 9872414, if you want to sell hand
