By Mrs. J. B. Johnson Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis of Front Royal were luncheon guests on Friday of Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Miss Ruth Menefee. Tuesday Mrs. Lewis and Miss Menefee accompanied by Mrs. J. R. Hudson of Luray were shoppers in Washington, D. C. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Coates of New Jersey and Walter Sirvault of Pennsylvania were guests last week at the Lee Highway Hotel. A pre-Christmas family party was held at the cabin of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruce on the Shenandoah River on Saturday. Those from here attending were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown and daughter Sherri and Mrs. Nina Brown. Miss Judy Hawkins of Arlington was a Saturday visitor of her parents Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins. Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer accompanied by Mrs. H. Gordon Payne of Madison went to Radford Friday and were accompanied back by Miss Susan Schaefer who is a second year student at Radford College, Miss Schaefer was an over
