Mrs. Frances Wood Charles was graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, Laurinburg, North Carolina on June 5,1966, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. She was employed by the college in the office of Dean of Admissions and in the De Tamble Library. For her student instruction she taught French in the Laurinburg High School. Mrs. Charles, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brereton J, Wood of Flint Hill, Va., received her elementary education here and was graduated from Warwick High School, Newport News, Va. She is married to Edgar Davidson Charles, Jr. of Flop ence, South Carolina. The couple will live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where Mr. Charles1 will attend the University in the fall doing graduate work in Economics. Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood and Mrs. H. R. Dunn attended the graduation and the luncheon given by the President of the college.
Little Leaguers Organize
A Little League baseball group has been organized in the county under the sponsorship of the Rappahannock Jaycees and the first g?me of the season is scheduled for Sunday, June 19 at the Sperryville School diamond. Game time is 3 p. m. There is till time for any boys Interested In the league to sign up for playing. They may contact F. D. Coffey of Sperryville.
