The Sperryville Fire Company answered a call Monday to the Lane Farm, home of Maurice O'Bannon, to extinguish hay on fire in a field.
east of Flint Hill on Route 647, Robert Thomas Hedrick of Front Royal was involved in a single-car crash. Trooper Buntin reported that Hedrick rounded a curve skidded on gravel and struck a tree on the right of the road. He sustained a bruised right shoulder. Damage to the car was estimated at $600. He was charged with failing to drive to the right of the road. Two vehicles were involved
