am and Mrs. David Streagle and daughter Shannon attended a family picnic Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bently Wood in McLean. They were joined by another daughter, Mrs. Tommy Fincham of Falls Church. Monday Mrs. Streagle and Shannon, Misses Nancy and Susan Latham were luncheon guests of Misses Louise and Katie Anderson in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and children Robert and Lisa were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Heflin in Warrenton.
Mrs. Willie Settle fell last week and broke her leg in two places. She was hospitalized for several days in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She is recuperating at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Aylor in Madison. Mrs. A. C. Latham was an over night guest Saturday of, the Rev. and Mrs. Harold Carder and family in Fredericksburg and in the evening visited the Rev. and Mrs John Hodge there. She returned home Sunday accompanied by her granddaughter Beverly Carder who will visit here for some time. Mrs. ’Egbert Wobdard returned to her home last week after visiting her Son Douglas Woodard and his family in Germany.
