Hill left last Wednesday by plane from Dulles Airport for Detroit, Mich. They were met there by Mrs. Spalding’s son Robert L. Massie, Jr. and with him toured that section |of the country. They returned 'home the middle of this week. Mr. Massie has been doing graduate work at Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell spent from Friday until Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Paulson in Newport News and attended the graduation of their grandson John Paulson from Newport News High School. Among those attending the Commencement exercises over the week-end at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington were Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead and family. Miss Annie Miller Almond, Judge and Mr^ T. C. Lea, Jr. and Miss Mollie Smith. Ray Snead, Jr. was a member of the graduating class.
