Bids Open for Sale Of Park Building
Bid invitation for sale and removal of a Government build ing in the Shenandoah National Park has been issued, Superintendent R. Taylor Hoskins announced today. Formerly occupied by Park personnel, the building is a two-story frame dwelling on concrete foundation with stucco exterior and metal root [t is approximately 21’ x 38’ with front and rear porches, nine rooms and bath, coal fired, hot air furnace, and electric hot water heater, pine flooring and plastered interior walls, according to Hoskins, who said that also included are wood frame screens and storm sash. It is located between the Browntown Road (State Route 649) and the Skyline Drive just sopth of Front Royal.
Bids will be opened at 2 p. m. (FDT) Monday. June
