Mi*.. Gladys Racer

Mrs. Glfdys Jenkins Racer, 63, died June. 6 at her home in Berryville. She was born in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Gilden and Sarah Jenkins. She was employed as cafeteria manager at the Clarke County High School. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Stover Clark of Berryville and Mrs. David Smythe of Winchester, one son, Vernon Racer, of Berryville and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 8 at the John H. Enders Funeral Home in Berryville conducted by the Rev. M. C. Cook. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers were C. E. Miley, William M. Boyc$ J. C. Huffman, Dr. C. H. Iden, Garland Tumblin and William Carpenter.
