Prog, for Rejectees
Virginia's medical rejectee program, aimed at restoring to health those young men disqualified for service in the armed forces because of physical reasons, is described in the current issue of the Virginia Health Bulletin. The program operates from armed forces examining stations in Richmond and Roanoke, the State Department of Health publication states, with the objective of providing counseling and referral services to those rejected for military service for medical reasons, in order that they may improve or overcome the conditions causing rejection.
