j Bill Sneac^ son of Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead of Washington, Va.f exhibited the Grand Champion pen-of-three lambs at the Northern Virginia 4-H Lamb Show and Sale held last Monday at Winchester. Mack Dodson son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dodson of Sperryvtlle exhibited the Reserve Champion Single. 4-H lambs were sold Monday night as follows: Single Grand Champion. $40.00 per hundred. Reserve Champion Single... $38.00 per hundred. Grand Champion Pen-ofThree....$28.00 per hundred. Reserve champion Pen-ofThree....$27.75 per hundred. 4-H Pen of Blue O’s. $27.40 per hundred. There were a total of 38 4-H lambs Included in the show of which all but five graded Blue O. Other Rappahannock 4-H exhibitors were: Billy Payne, who placed 9th with Sing and 5th with Pen-of-five and Roiald McDonald who placed third in pen-of-three just getting there in time for this class but missing entry in single class. One hundred percent of the Rappahannock lambs were in the top grade. Number of head and weights were as follows; Billy Payne - 5 head-537 lbs., Mack Dodson 4 head - 389 lbs., Ronald McDonald 4 head -415 lbs., and Bill Snead 4 head - 421 lbs. Tommy cather of Clark County was exhibitor of Grand Champion Single and Rickie Miller of Page County exhibited Reserve Champion pen-ofthree.
One buyer purchased all 4-H lambs.
