Miss Louise Miller Fletcher; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Fletcher ofSperryville, Virginia was awarded a diploma from Abbot Academy, Andover, Massachusetts at exercises held on June 6th. Mr. Norman Thomas, world renowned lecturer and author who sought the Presidency of the United States six times as a candidate on the Socialist Ticket, gave the commencement address to the current Abbot Academy graduating class of which his granddaughter was a member. Reverend A. Graham Baldwin, retiring School Minister at Phillips Academy, Andover, was the speaker at the Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, June 5th. Next fall she expects to enter the College of William and Mary.
