D. M. Smithwick’s Babeen, J. Arthur Reynold’s Big Boss, Roy Graham’s Balela and Mrs. EmmetSimmon’s Eddie’s Big Gate are among the other promising contenders.
MORE than a dozen ladies have entered the Mount Salem, two miles over timber. Patty Cassel who won last week’s ladies’ race with her Never Delay will race again with the third and fourth finishers, Betty Sue Grant on Aladdin Spin and Ann Elgin on Welsh Bard.
