Trooper J. A. Watson reported three traffic accidents in the past week on Rappahannock roads.
Charles William Jenkins of Washington driving a 1973 Ford pickup went up an embankment on Route 626 last Wednesday and his vehicle turned over on its side. He was cited for reckless driving and driving under the influence.
Friday on Route 211 and the intersection of Route 1001 in Sperryville two vehicles collided. Involved were Donnie Knight of Luray in a 63 Chevrolet and Nancy R. Trentham of Vienna in a 72 Mercedes.
According to Trooper Watson, the Trentham vehicle pulled into the intersection from a stop sign in front of the other driver. She was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
