Hawkins
Bernard M. Hawkins, Sr., 55, died February 10, 1976, at the home he shared with James Russell in Sperryville. A former resident of Bowie, Md., he had lived for eight years in Sperryville. He was a veteran of World War H.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hawkins; two daughters, Patricia and Cynthia and one son, Bernard M. Hawkins Jr.; four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Nash, Mrs. Thelma White, Mrs. Olethia Thompson and Mrs. Frances Bixler; six brothers, Lawrence, James, Weldon, Gabrial, Raymond and Carl Hawkins, all of Washington, D.C.
Funeral services were held February 17 at the Church of the Nativity in Washington, D.C. and interment was in Harmony Cemetery, Landover, Md.D
Corbin
Minor Franklin Corbin of Berryville (tied February 20, 1976 in Winchester Memorial Hospital. He was 70, a native of Rappahannock County, the son of the late William and Catherine Jenkins Corbin. He was a carpenter.
