The Rappahannock Extension office has ordered 200 Chinese Chestnut seedlings from the Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District. These one-year seedlings were selected from the seed stock of several of the best strains of Chinese Chestnuts that were developed over the years at the U.S.D.A. Beltsville Experimental Station. These seedlings will cost 20 cents a piece; there will be a limit of five to a person, on a first call basis.
