Byrd Rutherford. His wife, Mrs. Callie Mills Rutherford predeceased him.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Emma Hill of Grove City, Ohio and a number of nieces and nephews including Paul Rutherford and Mrs. Pauline Rutherford Keatts, both of Front Royal, whom Mr. Rutherford reared.
A funeral service was held Sunday at the Maddox Funeral Home and burial was in the Willis Chapel Cemetery at Huntly.D

I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the Sperryville Rescue Squad and to the friends and neighbors who rendered invaluable assistance during the sudden and fatal illness of Bernard Hawkins Sr. at my home on February 10, 1976. Their help and concern at such a critical time will never be forgotten.
