The final date that wheat or barley can be grazed and still be expected to produce a crop is March 1, for Barley and March 5, for wheat. Grazing beyond these dates will render the crop ineligible for payment in the event of a disaster resulting in crop failure. Acreage that will be grazed must be reported to the ASCS Office by the above mentioned dates. If this report is not made then the grazed acreage will count toward the years total production.□
