A LARGE BARN OWNED BY CHARLIE COMPTON at Amissville burned furiously after being struck by lightning last Wednesday. The electric charge ignited the entire structure and in fifteen minutes the building caved in. Efforts of firemen saved nearby structures. Severe electrical storms have occurred in the area almost daily for the past ten days.
