Aubrey H. Keyser, Chairman of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee, announced the decision of the committee to have a fund-raising cocktail party and buffet on Saturday, October 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Davis of Washington. The decision to have this party, anticipating the November 8 General Election, was prompted by the success of a similar one held in the Spring prior to the Democratic Primary.
All interested citizens are invited. There will be a charge of $5 per person. Democratic candidates and other political notables from across the state have been invited.
