Vice President and Mrs. Walter Mondale attracted over 250 guests to the home of State Senator and Mrs. Give Du Val of McLean on Monday evening, Aug. 29. This principal fund-raiser, where each attendant paid $125, found Andrew Miller, John Schell and Ira Leschner, defeated Democratic Primary Candidates, cheering on the winners on the “Rainbow Ticket”-Henry Howell, Charles (Chuck) Robb and Ed Lane.
Guests were served dinner and drinks from buffets decorated with stuffed pheasants. They were seated at tables for twelve under a green and white striped tent where a band played from time to time.
