Finally, the Supervisors postponed naming a replacement for Carter White as member of the county Welfare Board until they can determine the law on age restrictions, White reached retirement age last month but since he passed the age limit in the middle of his term, Supervisor H. B. Wood said he thought that mandatory retirement didn’t apply immediately and that White could complete his term.
