Royalties derived from the cookbook sales are used to finance the Maude Wallace Scholarship Fund. One or more scholarships are awarded from these funds to help young women who are majoring in Home Economics at V.P.I. & SU. The books are $4.00 each.
Club of the Year award and reading certificates will be presented by Mrs. Corinne Del Grosso, County Chairman. The Club with the most outstanding record will be recognized as Club of The Year and those members in the county who have read at least five books will receive certificates.
The Silent Auction is always an interesting part of the Achievement Night Program, and is filled with a great variety of items on which to bid. This is the main means of making money for the Extension Homemakers Clubs. The money is used for the various 4-H and county projects they support.
The public is invited to attend the Achievement Night Program. It is not limited to members or women.
