The RCHS Pantherettes dropped the basketball season opener Tuesday night to Central High with a final score of 51-38. lamelle Prudhum was high scorer for Rappahannock with 14 points which were matched by Central’s Linda Blount.
The Panthers had 37 per cent foul shots compared to Central’s 15 per cent.
The girls JV suffered defeat with a 37-33 score. RCHS’s Rhonda Brown took the spotlight with 10 points to her credit while Susan Price of Central totaled 14.
Foul .percentages were 47 per cent Central and 14 per cent for the Pantherettes.
