Homecoming Set
The public is cordially invited to attend special Homecoming Services to be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville, the Rev. Ronald Wiley, pastor. The guest speaker will be the Rev. A. Paul Thompson of Fork Union, former pastor of the Church. Mr. Thompson will give a history of the Baptist Church in Virginia, in general, with special emphasis on the history of the Baptist Churches in Sperryville, going back to the first churches built in the area, and their development „ up to the present time. Hymns sung will be those which were written in years that were of special significance in the churches history. Covered dish luncheon will follow the service.
