Supervisor Butch Eastham asked what had happened in negotiations with the Washington Fire Department on locating a dumpster next to the station house.

Luke tesponded that the firemen insisted on a $10 fee per month for each container. He maintained that it would be unfair to pay the Washington Fire Department to clean up their site when dumpster locations at H & J Grocery, Castleton and Chester Gap were supervised without charge.

Luke and Supervisor H. B. Wood agreed to check on having the trash removal date switched to Saturday after Davis maintained that the largest volume of refuse was dumped between Friday evening and Saturday morning.

In other action, the Board agreed to accept $100 from attorney J. W. Fletcher on behalf of his clients for clear title to .8 acres of property given to the county for use as a school.
