Up At DMV
Erection of steel for the new 7-story Division of Motor Vehicles headquarters building in Richmond began earlier this month and should be complete by November, according to DMV Commissioner Vem L. Hill. Basic Construction Company, contractors for the puilding, estimates a completion date of October 20, 1978. The $13-million puilding will replace the present facility which was puilt in 1906 as a shoe 'actory. The new office is >eing constructed to the lorthwest of the present ocation at 2220 W. Broad Street, on adjoining property.
