Mrs. William Alford since Tuesday are their son, Edward, who has returned from four-months’ stay in Germany, and Miss Sigrid Hahn of Fussen, Germany. Edward will leave this week to resume his studies at Washington and Lee University.
Mrs. Shirley Shelton was a recent guest at a cookout honoring the birthday of her grandson, Bruce Shelton, at the home of his parents, the Robert Sheltons in Winchester. Sunday Mrs. Shirley Shelton, Mrs. Robert Shelton and Mrs. Louisa Kreidamacher called on Mrs. Howard Cheney in Winchester Memorial Hospital. H. P. Cheney is a daily visitor in the Winchester Hospital where Mrs. Cheney underwent surgery Tuesday.
