Fix-it-Course
A new course designed especially for the user of electronic entertainment equipment will be offered during the summer session at Lord Fairfax Community College.
The course, ELEC 199, will include practical work in selecting, connecting and minor trouble shooting of radios, stereos, tape players, speakers, television sets, antennas and antenna boosters. Shop work will be an important part of the course and will include basic • soldering practice, making up shielded audio cables and using simple instruments.
The class is scheduled for Monday and Wednesday from 7-10 p.m. for five weeks beginning June 21. Albert Dryer, a regular electronics instructor at Lord Fairfax will teach the course.
Registration for the summer session is scheduled for June 16, 19 and 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Special evening registration will be held June 19 from 6-8 p.m. For further information call Albert Dryer at 869-1120.
