Thirty-two senior citizens trom the Area Agency on Aging's nutrition program in Rappahannock County visited Kings Dominion two weeks ago. thanks to the success of the group's recent fund raising project.
Nutrition site co-ordinator Have Crescenti reports the group had a good day, despite the rainy weather that plagued the outing. She noted that the trip would not have been possible without the help of volunteers who drove the vans to Kings Dominion.
In connection with fund raising for the excursion, prizes were given away on September 2b. The first prize quilt went to Hazel Deal of Sperrvville. James Freeman, Jr., of Washington was aw arded second prize of $10 and Gladys Payne of Washington received the $5 third prize. Mrs. Mabel Hitt of Amissville and Mrs.
