Dodson
A funeral for Hunter David Dodson of Woodville was conducted Sunday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper by the Rev. Edward Hawkins. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
Mr. Dodson, 84, died Thursday, October 12, 1978, at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
A native of Raippahannock County, he was the son of the late David Dodson and the late Lindsey Brown. His wife was the late Josie Ann Dodson.
Mr. Dodson was a farmer and a member of Five Forks Regular Baptist Church near Woodville.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John Miller of Fairfax; a son. Edward H. Dodson of Hampton; four grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lilly Dodson of Edinburg. Pallbearers were Gilbert Burke. Marvin Burke, Robert Carroll. Charles Dodson, Eugene Michael, Edward Martin. Franklin Michael and Wilson Dodson.
