4-H members, Extension Homemakers and interested community members will be asking Rappahannock citizens to donate to the 4-H Education Center which is being built 5 miles south of Front Royal. Each person donating $5.00 or more will be asked to sign a Signature Book to be permanently displayed at the 4-H Education Center.
4-H Club members will have a table set up in Washington at the Dried Flower Sale. Community members having books are: Maybelle Gilkey-Chester Gap, Corinne Del GrossoFlint Hill, Carolyn Manwaring-Woodville. Mary Priest-Amissville, Judy Harrison-Sperryville. This is a good opportunity for Rappahannock citizens to donate to the Center. The 19 other districts in Northern Virginia are also soliciting 500 signatures. “Even though we are the smallest county. I’d like to see us be the first to obtain the 500 signatures requested by the 4-H Educational Center Board," said Nancy Secrist.
