Surplus Vehicles

The School Board members voted unanimously to accept high bids of $501.90 from Lynn Atkins and $650 from Leon Auto Parts for two surplus school buses. $150 from Lewis Smith for a 1951 Ford pickup and $275 from Gilbert Lawrence for a 1957 Chevrolet ton and a half truck.

Money from the sale of the surplus vehicles along with $3,000 included in the current budget will be used to upgrade the school's service fleet.
