The contest is designed to foster an increased awareness of the sportsman’s contribution to conservation and wildlife management. It is open to children in grades 512 with separate classes for juniors in grades 5-8 and seniors in grades 9-12.
Posters must win in a local contest in order to be eligible for national prizes. Sportsmen’s clubs and conservation groups interested in sponsoring local competition may obtain detailed rules and information by writing NHF Day Poster Contest, 10f5 Post Road, Riverside, Conn. 06878.
Deadline for submission of posters for national judging is November 1, 1979.
Chorus Program
The Mount Carmel Chorus of Bentonville will present a program Saturday, June 16, at 8 p.m. at the Promise Land Baptist Church in Washington.
