The Executive Board of the Rappahannock Farmer’s Market, at its meeting this week, is expected to approve participation in the fireman’s parades in Amissville and Sperryville by the members of the Market.
At the same time, more fresh vegetables appeared in the Market this past weekend. A further increase in the variety of goods as well as in the quantity on sale is expected. Peas, beets, cabbage, French vegetables and an abundance of lettuce are all on sale at the Market in growing supply.
The number of buyers at the Market is ever growing. Even people who are just driving through have stopped to do some shopping. License plates from Illinois, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and New York have been spotted at the Market, while more and more cars from Maryland have been appearing.
