Payne
Thomas Norman Payne, 83, of Huntly died Thursday, June 7, 1979, at his home.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Willis Chapel United Methodist Church at Huntly by the Rev. Vickie Pittard. Interment was at the church cemetery.
Mr. Payne was born June 1, 18%, in Rappahannock County, son of the late John H. Payne and Molley Hackley Payne. He was a member of IOOF Lodge No. 374 at Front Royal. He was the husband of the late Lucy Pearl Payne.
He is survived by one sister, Mattie Noakes of Washington, D. C.
Pallbearers were Aubrey North Jr., Richard Burke, Woodrow North, Frank Huff, Thomas Huff and Allie Huff.
