budget had been cut by $16,000. “That’s one van (for transportation of handicapped students) or one bus,” he added.
Luke noted that the Supervisors had approved $8,000 in the school budget for the past three years for installation of underground gasoline storage tanks and had done so again in the proposed 1979-80 budget. “Let’s get that tank in the ground and get some gasoline in it,” he said.
“The crucial thing is determining where the school bus shop will be located,” explained Superintendent of Schools Dr. William Bloomer.
