Mrs. Alice Mergler of Manassas was a Wednesday luncheon guest of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bridges.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley returned home Monday after spending several days at Harper’s Ferry, W. Va. They attended the Art and Craft Festival there Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smoot of Goldsboro, N.C., spent the weekend visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Smoot in Sperryville, and Mr. and Mrs. Herndon Hudson.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax spent Sunday and Monday with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Calvert in Falls Church. They were Sunday evening dinner guests of Mrs. Virginia Alexander in Alexandria.

Frankie Harris of Arlington was a weekend guest of Miss Mary Miller Wood.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, both of Sperryville, Frankie Harris of Arlington, Mrs. L. J. Turner and Miss Mary Miller Wood were Sunday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Riddleberger of Front Royal at The Inn.

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines and family spent the weekend in Suffolk and attended the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ritter. Mrs. Ritter is the niece of Mr. Baines.

Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke of Culpeper were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Guy Burke. They all attended the Burke Reunion |at the Recreation Center Sunday.

Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. Henry M. Keyser were H. M. Keyser, Jr. and Joe of Clifton.

Mrs. L. J. Turner and Mrs. Mary Lea attended the 8th grade graduation Friday at Grynes School in Orange, where Mrs. Lea’s granddaughter, Julia Lea, was a graduate.

Weekend houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Burke and daughters of Alexandria. Joining them Sunday evening were Mrs. John Metzger of Lorton and Mr. and Mrs. C. Cletus Burke of Front Royal.

Mrs. Gladys Moore of Arlington spent from Friday until Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne.
