“Energy,” a free exhibition opening June 13 near the Byrd Visitor Center at Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, is for those who have heard much about the energy problem, but want a better understanding of what the problem is and what can be done about it.
The U.S. Department of Energy exhibition will be in the Park until June 20, according to Park Superintendent Robert R. Jacobsen.
“Energy” is housed in two 50-foot trailers filled with animated exhibits, films, and visitor-operated consoles. Two exhibit managers from the American Museum of Science & Energy in Oak Ridge, Tenn., will be available to answer questions.
