St. Clair a special use >ermit to operate a estaurant in the Lake Motel, :ontingent upon written ipprovals from the Health department. The council also >assed a motion supporting i*eter Kramer’s restoration of he Old Mill at Washington or commercial use.
In response to questions from the audience, St. Clair ;xplained that the restaurant would be a family restaurant. He plans to open at 5 a.m. to start serving breakfast, and then would also serve lunch and dinner. When asked whether he will be serving

Lord Fairfax
Three Rappahannock students are among the 186 who will receive degrees of achievement in graduation ceremonies at Lord Fairfax [Tommunity College on Friday, June 15. Julia Lynn Holland, laughter of Mr. and Mrs. lohn Holland of Sperryville, will receive a Certificate inf clerical studies for completing an approved nonlegree curriculum. Certificates for real estate brokerage and for supervision will be presented to lohn H. Williams of Washington.
Florence Gertrude Roman of Chester Gap will receive an Associate in Applied Science Degree in accounting awarded to students majoring in an occupational-technical curriculum who plan to obtain full-time employment immediately upon graduation.
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Rappahannock County Historical Society will be held June 26, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. at the Historical Society Building in Washington, Va.
Officers for the coming year will be elected at that time. Everyone is welcome and invited to attend.
